The other night in another rat group a girl posted that her grandmother went behind her back and released her 9 rats (7 babies) in a park in the middle of the that as across town and she had no way to get there to look for them. A rescue was organized and a wonderful volunteer packed up her car and started to drive the three hours to town to search for these rats. She spoke with police to get their assistance on the matter but it did take awhile to get it all organized. Now it turned out that this girl was lying and her rats (if they even exist) were safe at her grandmas the whole time. It got us all thinking though that it would be good to have a list of names of numbers for people in any area we can find who would be willing to help if a real situation like this did arise. That group is in the process of making a list of americans by state and city but I figured maybe we should see if we can get a canadian one together. Thoughts and opinions?
